The Old Cement Bridge

ache.jpgToday’s Achewood is really amazing. It’s ostensibly an homage to Chris Ware’s work, but I’ve never responded to that guy (on his best day) the way I do to Achewood. Raunchy and beautiful and in full color.  I haven’t been this impressed with Onstad’s work since the Cartilage Head storyline, although my all-time favorite has got to be this one from the Roast Beef in Heaven storyline.

“You don’t have any idea how to care about anyone any more what happened to you?”  So good.
