Watch as the science editor of the Daily Telegraph gets the speech center of his brain turned off with a giant magnet while he tries to talk. Fun stuff.

Finally he located my Broca’s and the train of pulses stopped me in my tracks. I wanted to recite the rhyme but stumbled and stuttered as my speech area was disabled. Intriguingly, I could still sing Humpty Dumpty as he buffetted my Broca’s: it turns out that singing is controlled by the right side of the brain, the opposite hemisphere to the one he stimulated.

I don't know...it looks like one click with the needle just a little too high and he's stuck on hum...hum...hum... for the rest of his life.

What's going on with those facial tics? I'd be too scared.
