Black people don’t like being compared, for any reason, to monkeys.  Most people learn this when they’re seven. It probably has to do with those hundreds of years we justified slavery with “science” that said that black people were more animalistic and uncivilized (more like monkeys) than white people, and so we had to keep them in slavery, for their own good.  I doesn’t matter how well-meaning you are. I’m sorry if everybody with half a brain tells you how wrong you are when all you were trying to do was point out that maybe, just maybe, there was a slight similarity between the first black nominee for president of the United States and a fucking primate.

This is coming out of Salt Lake City by the way, a town with basically no black people.  Jesus Effing Christ, Mormons.  Let’s get it together.
