Rush Limbaugh Is a Human Piece of Shit
Where is Al Franken when you need him? Rush, in an attempt to give his party a thin veneer of relevance, defecates this delerious stimulus proposal across the pages of the Wall Street Journal. First, he establishes some “known knowns:”

Oh, the unproven claim, how you rankle the asses of composition teachers across this great land of ours. Where do these “facts” originate? Why should we accept them?
But these are just appetizers to the utter shit sandwich Rush is serving up. He proposes that, since President Obama won 54% of the vote, he should get 54% of the stimulus funds he will surely win next week to spend on government programs. And who should get the other 46%? Why ol’ Rush should, to spend on tax cuts:
Then we compare. We see which stimulus actually works. This is bipartisanship! It would satisfy the American people’s wishes, as polls currently note; and it would also serve as a measurable test as to which approach best stimulates job growth.
This is bipartisanship? This is two halves of two very different plans. This is dividing the baby in half. This is lunacy and chatter and bullshit. All it does is imply that President Obama is only 54% president, and that Rush, without ever running for it, is somehow 46% president.
Oh, and Rush’s endgame is about as brilliant as a clump of impacted feces:

Of course he recalls three months ago, when Wall Street collapsed under the weight of its own avarice and dragged the whole of the “private sector” (which is ditto-speak for wealthy white people) down with it. Rush isn’t paid to have a long memory, but more than that, “Get out of the way” is an old, old idea from a time when the inner workings of Wall Street still had some manly mystery about them. Now we know who was really in charge, greedy, nihilistic M.B.A.s and evil, retarded politicians.
The time for “get out of the way” is over, and the only proof one needs is the current predicament.
That Rush Limbaugh is beginning to drag his putrid, blubberous hide out into the light of day again should be the surest sign that the Republicans don’t know who to follow anymore. At least Al Franken ran for (and won) political office, putting his money where his mouth is. What has Rush Limbaugh ever done but get high and call people names?
P.S. Which is not to imply that Al Franken does not also get high and call people names, but he’s a Senator now.

I agree with Republicans on all of this (that is, I am not convinced that FDR's New Deal was the key to exiting the Great Depression and I do believe tax cuts -- huge ones -- would work, and nothing I ever heard in Heav. 215 convinced me otherwise), but if Obama compromises even a LITTLE bit with Republicans on all of this I'll be fuckin' pissed... and here's why:
Economists are always complaining that they can't run experiments... well now's Paul Krugman's chance. You've got Congress, the Senate, and the President: have at it. Save America with whatever liberal/progressive/leftist economic strategies you can dream up. Go for it!

There may have been a time when tax cuts would have worked, but these days corporations and wealthy individuals pay very little tax anyway, and any jobs that such cuts might create would be shipped overseas where they can pay somebody 7 cents a day (we talked about that in 215, I think).
Supply side economics rely on a certain amount of either good faith on the parts of rich people (to contribute to the economy of the country granting them the incentives), or at the very least competence in pursuing their own self-interest. I see evidence of neither.
So, yes, Obama should stick to his guns, because the other side is evil and dumb. But then again, I'm biased.

I'm always fascinated as to how ignorant Americans are. We chose a black president because it's hip and cool. Almost like being a Hollywood star.
Never did really matter what he stood for, or what experience he had. It’s really only what he is, “He’s cool man". While all you poor people who have been treated so bad by the last eight years, more than likely because you didn't get the government handouts that you like so much. The rest of us middle class that understands going to work and actually earning your keep in society can be burdensome to the act of just going to the mailbox and getting your handout check. Still understand that those rotten rich people pay more taxes than the rest of us. I would even hazard to guess that the 40% of Americans who pay no taxes would not complain a bit with president Hollywood’s agenda because that would certainly end their ability of freeloading in which they have grown so accustom. Oh let us not forget that that the title is Commander and Chief (for all of you who didn’t get that from that riviting opinon report broadcast every evening) stands for commander and chief of the military. Again that’s not an agency that hands you a check for getting knocked up for the third time but the head of a group of individuals who are constantly slapped in the face by self riotous people like yourselves. He’s not good at financials perhaps he can also get our nations volunteer military killed off to. (Keep your hopes high!)
So, that being said, when we are enjoying the company of nuclear weapons from Iran and swimming in the entertainment of terrorist enjoying the creature comforts of the United States in lieu of their own dirt hut hills. Please don’t be upset if another poorly run government agency doesn’t get your check delivered to you on time.
By the way, the stock market is down 3000 pts. So keep beating up someone who tells you what you don’t want to hear.
Let’s keep in mind that I am not an avid listener of Limbaugh but am well aware of who he is. Don’t be afraid of being naïve or shallow minded to the truth because it might jeopardize your free government handouts that lazy Americans like you rely on to explain your pitiful existence.
