Pat Robertson on Haiti

Pat Robertson makes it really hard to be a human being sometimes:

And, you know, Kristi, something happened a long time ago in Haiti, and people might not want to talk about it. They were under the heel of the French. You know, Napoleon III and whatever. And they got together and swore a pact to the devil. They said, “We will serve you if you will get us free from the French.” True story. And so, the devil said, “OK, it’s a deal.”

Argh. In any event, it would probably be a good idea to give a little to Doctors without Borders, or a similar organization.

Ah, I wondered if you would surface for this one. The tag "fucking white people" seems apt. Hey, remember after Katrina when Barbara Bush said a lot of the evacuees were underprivileged better off in relocation centers? White people. Spot on in a crisis.
